Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Masala Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken (with bone)
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 3 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 4 green chillies, slit
  • 1 tsp Spyran Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tsp Spyran Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 tsp Spyran Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp Spyran Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Spyran Cumin Seeds
  • 2 tsp Spyran Biryani Pulav Masala
  • Fresh coriander and mint leaves, chopped
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • Spyran Saltto taste
  • Fried onions (for garnish)

Instructions:

  • Marinate the Chicken:In a large bowl, mix yoghurt, ginger-garlic paste, Spyran Turmeric Powder, Spyran red chilli powder, Spyran garam masala, and Spyran salt. Add chicken pieces, coat them well, and marinate for at least 1 hour.

  • Fry the Onions:Heat oil in a pan and fry sliced onions until golden brown. Remove half of the onions and set them aside for garnish.

  • Cook the Chicken:To the remaining onions, add Spyran cumin seedsand sauté for a minute. Add tomatoes and cook until soft. Add the marinated chicken and cook on medium heat until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
