Spicy-Licious Masoor Dal Tadka Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Masoor Dal (red lentils)
  • 2 tbsp ghee or oil
  • 1 tsp Spyran cumin seeds
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, minced
  • 2 green chillies, slit

Instructions:

  • Cook the Dal:Rinse Masoor Dal thoroughly and pressure cook it with 3 cups of water, Spyran salt, and a pinch of Spyran turmeric powderfor 3-4 whistles. Set aside.

  • Prepare the Tadka:In a pan, heat ghee or oil. Add Spyran cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add minced garlic and ginger and sauté until golden. Then, add onions and green chillies and cook until the onions turn golden brown.
